Representing an ethical and responsible family outing option, the Ecomuseum Zoo, located in your hometown of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, places the well-being of its occupants at the heart of its concerns.

The Ecomuseum Zoo, located on Chemin Sainte-Marie, offers the opportunity to observe numerous animals with unique histories. During your visit, you will get to know orphaned, rehabilitated or professionally cared for animals. Each living area reflects the natural environment of these animals in order to ensure their comfort and well-being, and thus their right to dignity.

The Ecomuseum Zoo offers a walk through the living areas of the different animals, and at certain times of the day, you can attend educational presentations. The “Lunch with the Animals” and the ” Animaliers d’un jour ” are always a great success!

As the only outdoor zoo on the island of Montreal, the Ecomuseum Zoo presents exclusively Quebec wildlife and is proud to be one of seven institutions in Quebec accredited by CAZA-AZAC (Canadian Accredited Aquariums and Zoos), an organization that promotes standards of excellence in animal welfare and fosters education, conservation and scientific research.

With a mission focused on animal welfare, education and the conservation of species and their habitats, the Ecomuseum Zoo reaches over 165,000 visitors per year and is open 364 days a year!
