Corner of rue Sainte-Anne and rue Saint-Pierre
Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue
This pedestrian boardwalk, built along the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue canal in 1987, quickly became a popular attraction in the area.
In summer, musicians and street artists add a festive and friendly atmosphere to the promenade. Parallel to rue Sainte-Anne, a variety of restaurants offer large and beautiful terraces overlooking the boardwalk and offering a view on the canal.
Each year, boaters from across Quebec and the United States, crossing the canal locks, moor there to enjoy the promenade and the shops on rue Sainte-Anne.
Very busy in summer, the promenade becomes quiet and peaceful in winter and offers walkers an impressive view of the frozen lake.
